October 2006 support group meeting

Our support group meeting for the month of October will be held on October 14, 2006 in the Physicians Dining Room (PDR) of Zale Lipshy (UT Southwestern Medical Center). Ms. Dana Dewitt, an aneurysm survivor will speak to the group about her amazing recovery and share her experiences with us. The meeting will be held from 10:30 AM - 12:00 noon with 30 minutes for questions.

Dr. Talmadge Trammell's presentation

On September 9, 2006, Dr. Talmadge Trammell, Chief Resident of Neurosurgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center gave a presentation on "Blood vessel anatomy" and the nitty gritty of cerebrovascular surgery. Dr. Trammell spoke about different kinds of brain aneurysms, causes of aneurysms and provided detailed description of an aneurysm surgery. We thank Dr. Trammell for his excellent presentation.
